The Faculty of Invisibility | The Letters / The Invitation | Communiqué
On invitation of Transmission Gallery the Faculty's tutors engaged in "the Invitation" decided to leave their posts. The Faculty of Invisibility has been an artistic project which started in 2006. In the Faculty on invitation tutors open departments, in which they teach what is essential to their practice. The Faculty of Invisibility dealt with formats of publicness and social organization, such as in the first event The Speech (December 4/5/6 2006, Jan van Eyck Academie), The Communiqué, which published the opening speeches and the Letters, publicizing passages of the Invitation (from December 10th 2007 to November 2008). You Can Leave Your Post Now announces the resignation of the Faculty of Invisibility.
