Body of Work provides a minimal scenography, consisting of a screen, a wooden circle and the Abaton. In Ancient Greece Abaton was the pilgrim's dormitory, part of a temple's complex, where during sleep Asklepios would announce the suitable cure in dreams.

   To bring
Please bring a bad experience (preferably from the art world) that should be turned into a good one. If you like, bring an (healing) exercise that can be done individually or in a group. You're welcome to bring helpful objects and books as a loan to the summercamp's temporary library.

   No program
There is literally no program. You are welcome but not obliged to create things together.

   Registration
Limited places available. Registration is required. Please register by emailing to registration@body-of-work.org before June 10th 2015. It is possible to stay just a few nights as well. Please indicate the dates of your stay. Children are welcome.

   Self-organized
This camp is self-organized. Everyone is asked to participate in cleaning, cooking, shopping and we will cover the cost of food together (varying according to self-estimation).

Body of Work is a cooperation with the Künstlerhäuser Worpswede / die Kolonie, run by Tim Voss.
The poster has been designed by Paul Gangloff.
It quotes Franz Kafka's call of the Nature Theatre of Oklahoma. Proof reading by Sarah M Harrison.
Body of Work is a production by the Faculty of Invisibility (Sönke Hallmann and Inga Zimprich).

   Accommodation
The five houses of the Künstlerhäuser Worpswede offer 20 beds in 11 rooms. There are five bathrooms, we'll use the main kitchen collectively, there will be two big common spaces and a large meadow which offers a place to meet and additional room for a few tents. Bedding, linen and towels are provided.

Please contribute 25€ to the camp as a participation fee if possible. You have to cover your travel yourself as well as the cost of food (see self-organized).

   Worpswede
is an artists colony situated close to Bremen, which has been founded in 1889.

Right behind the houses are horse meadows and the devil's moor with the Hamme flowing through. We can light campfires, take long walks and bath in the Hamme stream.
